Galluerilla is an initiative to transform outdoor public spaces to open air galleries. The main goal of Galluerilla is to make the city more beautiful, safer and exciting. In this way art is accessible to everyone at any time.
DIY store chain Gamma and the City of Amsterdam supported the project, which was initiated by Sammie van Dorp and branding agency Galore.
The first exhibition of the guerilla gallery is in the tunnel connecting Zouthaven and Dijksgracht, across from the cultural breeding ground Hannekes Boom. For this exhibition, Galluerilla partnered with the photography festival UNSEEN, which will exhibit 28 works from 28 international galleries.
