Rutger Reinders

Rutger Reinders is considered to be one of the best film composers of The Netherlands. For Story Collective he composed music for various A.Vogel productions. Rutger distincts himself by the acoustic recording of multiple instruments, all played by himself.

He graduated the Conservatorium in Alkmaar in 2004, direction guitar and piano and additionally finished a course in audio engineering at the SAE in Amsterdam.

Golden Calf Nominee

Rutger was nominated for a Golden Calf award for best music in 2015 for his composed piece for Zurich, a film by Sacha Polak.

Rutger also composed the music for Polak’s documentary Nieuwe Tieten (2013) and her art-house debut Hemel (2012).


In addition, Rutger worked on many commercials, films and television shows like Van God Los.
